Todrick Hall, the YouTube sensation who is starring in the City of West Hollywood’s new pedestrian safety video, took some time from the shoot recently to explain what it was all about (see video above).
Hall’s YouTube channel has more than one million subscribers. The Texas native’s videos are all hilarious. But it was a funny video promoting safety for Virgin America that got Hall mainstream attention, including stories in BusinessWeek and Forbes. Hall, who lives in West Hollywood, performed in and wrote the song and lyrics that video, which can be viewed online.
now, sally, you are funny. people are run over in the street, and you find a way to be offended.
that is so precious, so LA.
be appalled, it’s religion in this town.
i’m being playful, truly, but reconsider what is more important.
This guy is a “sensation?” Who the hell is he? Whose bonehead decision was it to hire him to talk about safety issues in our city? Also, how come yet again nobody in the city is talking about WOMEN? He specifically refers to “guys” being on Grinder and Adam 4 Adam with no concern that women, yes WOMEN, actually live here in and also use the crosswalks. Yet again, “boystown’s” true colors shine through. I am appalled by our city leadership.
Toddrick you are Dynomite! (You are too young to know who said that). I hope we will see the return of a cell phone sippy cup–isn’t that like what everyone is doing anyway?
