The PickUp, West Hollywood’s free nightlife shuttle, is expanding its days of service to include St. Patrick’s Day along with other holidays.
Free rides on the PickUp will be available tomorrow from 8 p.m. to 3 a.m. Other holidays when the PickUp will be in operation are Mardi Gras, Cinco de Mayo, the Sunday before Memorial Day, the Fourth of July, the Sunday before Labor Day, Halloween, the Wednesday before Thanksgiving Day and New Year’s Eve.
The PickUp also will continue to provide free transportation from 8 p.m. to 3 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
The PickUp travels along Santa Monica Boulevard in a four-mile loop with 10 stops in each direction between Robertson Boulevard and Fairfax Avenue. It arrives at stops every 15 minutes.

Oh, stop being so picky! Just be thankful there’s a free shuttle around here. It’s free dang it! And they often give out free drink tickets to various bars.

It should extend to east of Fairfax and start at 6pm, Thursday to Sunday.
Let’s also consider a less rickety trolly and one that has more comfortable and accommodating seats that face center. That kind of seating encourages riders to engage in friendly conversation.
And yet it still does NOT go east of fairfax….
