Jean de Merry, the furniture, lighting and accessories retailer and wholesaler, has signed a long-term lease with the Pacific Design Center (PDC) for a 10,000 square foot showroom on the 6th floor of the PDC’s Red building on Melrose Avenue. The showroom is expected to open this summer.
It is one of a number of new tenants or expansions by existing tenants totaling 16,000 square feet at the PDC. They include Holly Hunt | Phillip Jeffries, which this summer will open a showroom featuring the brand’s wall coverings; Quintus, a furniture brand that recently opened at the PDC, and Bausman & Company, a manufacturer of French, English and Italian reproductions, which has increased its PDC space by 7,500 square-feet. Scott Group Studio has relocated to a new and expanded showroom for its custom carpets, and Michael Taylor Collections also has expanded at its current PDC location..
The PDC houses 100 showrooms that feature 2,200 interior product lines. It also provides public and private conference spaces, two Wolfgang Puck restaurants, a 388-seat theatre and a conference center in its Blue building.
