A two-car collision this afternoon on Fountain Avenue at Havenhurst resulted in traffic being halted briefly between Harper Avenue and Crescent Heights Boulevard.
Public safety officers responding to the crash had to extricate a man who was trapped inside one vehicle.. He was in stable condition and transported to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. A woman was released against the advice of emergency medical services staffers.
