Oct. 24
Grand Theft. 8400 block Fountain Avenue between 2:30 and 6 a.m. A man removed a laptop, iPhone, tablet, Apple watch and credit card after he was invited into the victim’s home after meeting in a club. Loss $4,770. #06361
Grand Theft. 1200 block Kings Road between 11:30 p.m. and 8 a.m. The locks were cut and two bicycles were removed from the underground parking garage. Loss $1,900. #06381
Vehicle Burglary. 1100 block Detroit Street @ 5:25 pm. The front and rear driver’s side windows were smashed and the interior was ransacked. Loss $700 (windows). #06358
Vehicle Burglary. 1100 block Ogden Drive between 8 p.m. and 7:30 a.m. The front passenger’s side window was smashed and the interior was ransacked. The victim was unsure what items were missing. Loss $300 (window). #06380
Vehicle Burglary. 900 block Ogden Drive between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. The front passenger’s side window was smashed. The victim was unsure what items were missing. Loss $100 (window). #06376
Vehicle Burglary. 1200 Kings Road between 3 p.m. and 8 a.m. The front driver’s side window was smashed and a garage remote was taken from the center console. Loss $515. #06379

Aggravated Assault – Knife (Suspect Arrested). 600 block San Vicente Boulevard @ 2:45 pm. A women and her small child were walking in the park when a homeless man held a knife in his hand and waved it at the victims in a threatening manner. The suspect was arrested. #06385
Armed Robbery. 1000 block Genesee Avenue @ 7:35 p.m. A man was walking northbound on the sidewalk when another man confronted him while armed with a handgun and demanded his property. The victim complied and the suspect ran northbound on Genesee. Loss $915 (Cell Phone). #06393
Vehicle Burglary. 900 block Kings Road between 8 p.m. and 2 a.m. The front passenger’s side window was smashed and a wallet was taken from the front seat. Loss $620. #06473

Other Burglary. 100 block North La Peer Drive @ 2:56 a.m. A man removed a box containing unknown items from the parking garage. Loss unknown. #06466
Vehicle Burglary. 900 block Palm Avenue between 6:30 p.m. and 12:30 a.m. Three pairs of sunglasses, clothing and an iPhone charger were taken from the front seat. No sign of forced entry. Loss $950. #06436
Residential Burglary. 900 block Westbourne Drive between 12:01 a.m. 2 p.m. A television, lamp, trash bin and linens were taken from the residence during an Airbnb rental. Loss $780. #06497
Armed Robbery. 600 block San Vicente Boulevard @ 11:30 p.m. Five men were playing basketball when a man approached them armed with a handgun. The victims ran from the scene after seeing the gun. The suspect picked up three cell phones the victims had placed near the basketball court and fled the area on foot. Loss $800. #06420

Other Burglary. 1000 block North San Vicente Boulevard @ 3:50 a.m. A man smashed the window at the valet office and removed two sets of car keys. The suspect attempted to drive away in one of the vehicles but could not exit the gate. The suspect got into the other vehicle and was confronted by an employee. The suspect used the vehicle to break the security gate and drove away in the vehicle. Loss $2,500 (Keys, security gate, window. Does not include stolen vehicle). #06427
Vehicle Burglary. 600 block Almont Drive between 7 and 11 p.m. The rear passenger’s side window was smashed and a laptop and iPad were taken from the back seat. Loss $2,000. #06445
Vehicle Burglary. 8500 block Santa Monica Boulevard between 8:30 and 11:36 p.m. Someone smashed the front driver’s side window and removed a laptop, tablet, backpack, and wallet from the trunk. Loss $4,850. #06447
Vehicle Burglary. 8500 block Santa Monica Boulevard between 8:48 and 10:25 p.m. The rear driver’s side window was smashed and a laptop was taken from the back seat. Loss $600. #06448
Vehicle Burglary. 1300 block Harper Avenue @ 5:14 a.m. The rear passenger’s side window was smashed and a purse was taken from the back seat. Loss $700. #06449
Vehicle Burglary. 8700 block Rangely Street between 11:00 p.m. and 9 a.m. The rear driver’s side window was smashed and objects in the back seat were moved, but the victim was unsure if anything was taken. Loss $200. #06457

Grand Theft. 1300 block Harper Avenue between 1:30 and 8 a.m. A man removed a cell phone, clothing and two pair of shoes after he was invited into the victim’s residence after meeting that night. Loss $3,500. #06519
Strong Arm Robbery. 7800 block Santa Monica Boulevard @ 10:40 p.m. A homeless woman took a bottle of alcohol and a plate of food and attempted to leave the store without payment. When confronted by security, the suspect threw the food in security guard’s face and fled the area. The alcohol was recovered. Loss $15. #06528
