Sheriff’s cars outside WeHo City Hall today.

The homeless issue in the City of West Hollywood emerged in City Hall this afternoon when an apparently homeless man entered and began making threats.

The watch sergeant on duty at the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station said the man “appeared to be a little bit unstable, mentally ill.”

The man became violent and deputies had to force him to the ground to handcuff him and arrest him.

The Homeless is everywhere. In front of business’s, on sidewalks. T he Weho Library is no longer the library-It’s become a homeless shelter from opening to closing with homeless people taking up computers and stinking the entire library up. Most don’t have shoes on the smell is gawd awful when there sitting there. The homeless population is even invading our homes, coffee shops, retail stores, gyms etc. You’ve to step over them to get into your front door of your business. CVS garage/entrances to the store from the garage at the corner of SM Blvd/LaCienga is one big piss smell.

The homeless situation in West Hollywood is getting out of control. They seem to hang around the recycle center at Pavilions and leave quite a mess around the neighborhood. I don’t see the City doing much to address this.

Something tells me that the police response time to City Hall due to a homeless man making threats and being “unstable” is much faster than when I had to wait hours for the police to arrive to my apartment building due to a homeless man making threats and being “unstable” in the stairwell of my apartment building.

That’s all…? You really should have held this story until you got some actual information to go with it.
