Jacqueline Renee Waddell — known professionally as Jackie Warner — was immediately sentenced to a 12-hour drinking and driving program and two years summary probation following her plea to one count of alcohol-related reckless driving.

The 48-year-old West Hollywood resident was also advised that she could be charged with murder if she drives under the influence and a person is killed as a result, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.

Waddell crashed her vehicle into an electrical pole Feb. 24 near Holloway Drive and Hacienda Place in West Hollywood, then drove to a 7-Eleven convenience store where she struck the patrol car of a Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputy who was trying to detain her, prosecutors said.

She was initially charged with one felony count of assault upon a peace officer and one misdemeanor count each of driving under the influence of an alcoholic beverage, driving with a 0.08% blood-alcohol content and hit-and-run driving resulting in property damage.
