How can we respond to the gun massacre in Las Vegas? One practical way is to supply needed goods to the survivors — the approximately 480 who were wounded but not killed in the worst mass murder in modern U.S. history.
West Hollywood City Councilmember Lindsey Horvath is going to Las Vegas tomorrow and is accepting donations of goods that she will deliver. She will take them to the Las Vegas Convention Center, which has been set up at a donation hub. Horvath also will be going to Vegas’s Sunrise Hospital to visit victims of the attack and donate blood.
Donations can be left today at West Hollywood City Hall, which is on the southwest corner of Santa Monica Boulevard at Sweetzer.
Here’s a list of what is needed:
Air mattresses
Aspirin
Bottled water
Dry food and snacks
Feminine products
Hydration drinks
Sleeping bags
Sweaters
Tooth brushes
Toothpaste
They don’t need Tampons and Aspirin. LV Mayor Goodman and the Sheriff asked people to stop sending things , they have all they need. Horvath needs to stay in WEHO and take care of our issues instead of going on a publicity stunt.
They also don’t need any more blood either. Thats as useful as Thoughts and Prayers.

Everything I’ve read about disaster relief says send money not goods.

Restaurants are already donating food to victims and rescue personnel.
“Several Las Vegas hotel operators are offering free stays at their properties for victims of the Mandalay Bay mass shooting and their family members.” So why do they need Air mattresses?
I know you think you’re being useful, but you’re not. Send money.
