This is 100 percent from the penthouse or whatever that club is below it. I don’t care if you are straight, gay, black, or white don’t come to West Hollywood and fight. These people clearly aren’t from the community and should stay home if they are going to do this type of stuff. It is sad to see what has become of the Factory Building. I remember when it was fun to go there and dance, now I would never go there. They should yank the permits and close it down. The new factory complex can’t come fast enough.

Robert, I don’t know what the venue is called now, but there is indeed still a club night in that space or in some portion of it. I believe it caters mostly to black people.

As soon as these clubs start catering back to the gay community and not “theme nights”…I truly believe this kind of violence will end. Weho was never like this in the 90s and early 00’s. The more gay you make a club…the more it will keep straight folks away which bring another kind of dynamic to a bar or club. We’ve tamed down our clubs to appeal to all…thus you’re going to get straight bar behavior.

What in the hell is happening to West Hollywood. Between the huge influx of homeless and violence associated with specific night clubs it feels like our safety is quickly being eroded. Please contact our city council and voice your concerns! We need to get a grip on this before things get beyond repair!!

Thank God no guns pulled. Mainly people drinking.

JM, The Factory has been closed for more than a decade. This had nothing to do with it. All the people in this fight should be arrested and charged with felony battery. There is no excuse for this in West Hollywood.

I don’t understand why they don’t just put a couple sheriff’s department personnel near there after about midnight until around 4:00am or whenever it closes.

Seems like yesterday when only Gay guys partied at this end of West Hollywood, No fights, no hassles. Just having a good time.

There must be a reason why the Sheriffs monitor the Factory so closely.

Where are the patrols in this area at 3am with that many people around? What once used to be the gay hub is no longer.

We pay $18 million a year for our Sheriff’s Department and not one deputy is in this area while this was happening?
