Danish street artist Mikael B has been tapped by West Hollywood’s Mondrian hotel as its featured artist.
A collection of his work, called “Momentum,” will be displayed in the Mondrian’s lobby beginning Friday and will be up until Dec. 15. The hotel will host an opening reception Friday from 7 to 9 p.m.
The exhibit will feature select prints and originals continued from Mikael B’s most recent solo exhibit, which marked a major shift in his style and outlook.
“Momentum is about progress and drive to do something new,” Mikael B said. “Keep going for what you want and to constantly have greater goals – to keep momentum. That’s how my mindset has changed to where I am now. I wanted to show works that resemble that and also showcase where I’m going.”
The Mondrian Los Angeles is located at 8440 Sunset Blvd. at Olive Drive in West Hollywood.
