Below is the weekly crime report from the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station that calls out incidents in WeHo from Dec. 11 to Dec. 17. The list includes each case number. This report lists Part 1 (serious) crimes for the date range shown and is not meant to be a complete list of all serious crime. Dec. 11
Vehicle Burglary. 7800 block Santa Monica Boulevard at between 4:20 and 5:15 p.m. An unknown suspect smashed the front passenger’s side window and removed a backpack containing a laptop computer, makeup, cash, sunglasses and passport from the front seat. Loss $2,500. #06883
Vehicle Burglary. 1200 block Formosa Avenue between 2 p.m. and 11:15 a.m. An unknown suspect ransacked the interior and removed a cell phone, iPod, and checkbook from the center console and a tool box from the rear cargo area. No sign of forced entry. Loss $1,000. #06902
Dec. 12
Aggravated Assault – Knife (Suspect Arrested). 8900 block Sunset Boulevard at 7:50 p.m. A man poked his Lyft driver on the leg with a knife during a ride. The victim suffered a minor injury to his leg. Responding deputies located and arrested the suspect. #06913
Grand Theft. 8600 block Melrose Avenue at noon. A man removed a bicycle from the display area without payment and rode away on the bicycle. Loss $3,800. #06904
Non-Aggravated Assault. 500 block San Vicente Boulevard at 1 a.m.
Theft/Larceny (bicycles). 1400 block Havenhurst Drive at 8:30 p.m.
Dec. 13
Grand Theft. 1200 block La Brea Avenue between 1 and 8 a.m. An unknown suspect removed two pairs of sunglasses and a cell phone from the center console of the unlocked vehicle. Loss $1,000. #06955
Grand Theft. Romaine Street / Martel Avenue between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. An unknown suspect removed a cell phone from the center console and a laptop computer from underneath the front seat of the unlocked vehicle. Loss $2,300. #06959
Strong Arm Robbery. 8900 block Santa Monica Boulevard at 11:30 pm. A man removed several food items and left the store without payment. When confronted by store security, the suspect pushed the victim to the ground and fled the area on foot. Loss $21. #06932
Vehicle Burglary. 1200 block North Kings Road between 6:30 p.m. and 6:45 a.m. An unknown suspect smashed the front passenger’s side window and ransacked the interior. The victim was unsure if any property was missing. Loss $350. #06937
Vehicle Burglary. 1300 block Sweetzer Avenue between 7:30 p.m. and 9:15 a.m. An unknown suspect ransacked the interior and removed three pairs of sunglasses from the center console. No sign of forced entry. Loss $730. #06956
Dec. 14
Grand Theft. 8400 block West Sunset Boulevard at 9:12 p.m. An unknown suspect removed a laptop computer, head phones, and cash from a computer bag that was left unattended in a conference room. Loss $3,500. #06969
Armed Robbery (Attempt). 1300 block Havenhurst Drive at 1:30 a.m. A man was standing on the sidewalk when a vehicle pulled up next to him. The suspect exited the passenger’s side of a vehicle armed with a handgun and demanded the victim’s property, the victim did not have any property with him. No loss. #06933
Armed Robbery. 8400 block Santa Monica Boulevard at 1:56 a.m. Two men were walking on the sidewalk when the suspect approached them while armed with a handgun and demanded their property. The victims complied. Loss $400 (wallet, backpack). #06934

Dec. 15
Grand Theft. 7300 block Santa Monica Boulevard at 11:59 p.m. An unknown suspect removed a bag containing a laptop computer, cash, and cosmetics that was left unattended on a table. Loss $4,000. #06978
Grand Theft. 7300 block Santa Monica Boulevard between 11 and 11:30 p.m. An unknown suspect removed a purse containing a laptop computer, cosmetics, and credit cards that was left unattended on the bar top. Loss $1,350. #06992
Non-Aggravated Assault. 600 block of North Robertson Boulevard at 10 p.m.
Dec. 16
Other Burglary. 700 block Doheny Drive between 9 p.m. and 9 a.m. An unknown suspect cut the lock to a construction gate to gain access and removed power tools from the construction site. Loss $3,500. #07034
Strong Arm Robbery. Santa Monica Boulevard / Westbourne Drive at 3 a.m. A man was walking on Santa Monica Boulevard when the suspect approached him and asked to use his phone. The victim gave his phone to the suspect and then the suspect tried to pull the victims watch from his wrist but was unsuccessful. The suspect kept the phone and fled the area on foot. The victim was unable to provide further details about the incident. Loss $1,100. #07020
Vehicle Burglary. Havenhurst Drive / Santa Monica Boulevard between 9:45 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. (next day). An unknown suspect ransacked the interior and removed a sub-woofer speaker and garage remote. No sign of forced entry. Loss $400. #07027
Vehicle Burglary. 8500 block Sunset Boulevard between 11:40 and 11:50 p.m. An unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger’s side window and removed a suitcase containing a laptop computer, shoulder bag, and backpack from the back seat. Loss $5,400. #07023
