West Hollywood residents were among the tens of thousands who assembled in at Hollywood Boulevard at Highland in Los Angeles Saturday for a rally before beginning the March for Our Lives to Pershing Square and then to Grand Park. A few also assembled in West Hollywood at Santa Monica Boulevard at San Vicente.
The rally and march were among 800 in the United States and overseas to demand stronger gun control laws following the Feb. 14 massacred of 17 students and teachers at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla.
The West Hollywood event took place from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday. It was organized by Tom DeMille, a candidate for City Council.
