Ranked No. Six in the World by Bravo, Catch Has Caught the Eye of the Jet Set

While it may not be very popular with the hoi polloi who live nearby in West Hollywood West, Catch LA seems to have caught the attention of the world’s jet set.

That’s according to Bravo, the TV channel whose Jet Set website page lists Catch as one of the six “hottest nightclubs in the world.”

That puts the rooftop restaurant at the northwest corner of Melrose Avenue and San Vicente Boulevard in league with places like London’s JuJu, a hangout for Prince Harry, and L’Arc in Paris, where “celebs like Rihanna, Taylor Hill, Kanye, and Leonardo DiCaprio have all been spotted hanging out here,” Jet Set says. “L’Arc is open to everyone – at least nominally – and stays open until 5 a.m.” – long after WeHo’s 2 a.m. closing time.

“Catch is one of the hottest places to be seen in West Hollywood right now – and that’s saying a lot,” says Jet Set. “Top models like Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, and Miranda Kerr often hang out here alongside other Hollywood A-listers. It’s the kind of place you can go for dinner and stay late having drinks until the real party starts.”

It’s that “real party” that has drawn complaints from those living in the nearby West Hollywood West neighborhood, who are disturbed by the late night noise from the restaurant, which opened in September 2016.

In response to complaints from residents voiced at a meeting of the city’s Planning Commission, Catch pledged to erect a glass wall on its southern boundary to restrain the sound.

Other’s on the Top Six list are New York City’s Boom Boom Room, 1 Oak in Las Vegas (not the Sunset Strip location), and LIV in Miami.

I’ve heard there are serious nightly noise complaints for the adjacent residents/home owners.

The City wants more rooftop night time bars/restaurants.

This seems a dichotomy of the City Consensus. Articles about the noise, articles about more roof bars, BUT A BRAG ABOUT THIS ONE BEING RANKED SO HIGH.

The Jet Set? That’s a stretch, more like the TMZ Set. No class here only crass.

If it’s so world renowned why is the space underneath STILL for lease?
