Eight Car Burglaries in WeHo Last Week

Eight thefts from autos reported to the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station from Jan. 21 through Jan. 27 . They are among the incidents below that are (Part I) crimes reported to the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Department. Jan. 21

Aggravated Assault – Other Weapon (Suspect Arrested). 600 block North Robertson Boulevard at midnight. A man threw a glass plate at the victim during an argument. The glass plate hit the victim and shattered. The suspect was detained by security and arrested by responding deputies. #00402
 
Vehicle Burglary. 8700 block Sunset Boulevard 4 a.m. An unknown suspect smashed the front passenger’s side window and removed property from the front floorboard area. #00407
 
Vehicle Burglary 1200 block Crescent Heights from  10 p.m. to 9:30 a.m. An unknown suspect smashed the rear driver’s side window and removed property from behind the front seat. #00428
 

Jan. 22

Vehicle Burglary. 600 block North Kings Road between 1 and  2 p.m. An unknown suspect smashed the front passenger’s side window and removed property from the back seat. #00437
 
Jan.  23

Residential Burglary. 900 block West Knoll Drive from 9 to 11 a.m. An unknown suspect removed property from the living room. No sign of forced entry. #00464

Vehicle Burglary. 8200 block Sunset Boulevard  between 8 and 10 p.m. An unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger’s side window and removed property from the rear floorboard. #00504

Grand Theft. 600 block North Robertson Boulevard  at 12:40 a.m. An unknown suspect removed a cell phone from the victim’s purse while inside the club. #00505
 
Other Burglary. 7500 block Hampton Avenue between Dec. 26 and Jan. 19. An unknown suspect used force to gain entry to an underground parking garage storage locker and removed property.  #00413
 
Vehicle Burglary. Sherbourne Drive / Beverly Boulevard  between 11:30 p.m. and 1 a.m. An unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger’s side window and removed property from the interior. #00519
 
Vehicle Burglary. 8700 block Rangely Avenue between 10:40 a.m. and 12:50 p.m. An unknown suspect smashed the front passenger’s side window and removed property from the center console. #00520
 
Vehicle Burglary. 8700 block Rangely Avenue between 1:40 p.m. and  2:12 a.m. An unknown suspect smashed the rear driver’s side window and removed property from the rear floorboard. #00521
 
Jan.  27

Other Burglary. 8500 block Melrose Avenue at 4:30 a.m. An unknown suspect smashed a window to gain access and removed eyeglass frames. #80004

Strong Arm Robbery (Suspect Arrested). 7700 block Santa Monica Boulevard  at 12:15 p.m. A man removed alcohol and left the store without payment. When confronted by an employee, the suspect threatened to kill the employee and then fled the area on foot. The suspect was arrested by responding deputies. #00536

Vehicle Burglary. 8500 block Sunset Boulevard  between 3 and 3:25 a.m. An unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger’s side window and searched the vehicle but did not take anything. #00525
