The City of West Hollywood’s Lesbian Speakers Series, the Los Angeles LGBT Center,and the Mazer Lesbian Archives will present a special event in honor of National Coming Out Day in collaboration with the Lesbian Culture Club.
The Lesbian Culture Club evening will include comedy, music, pathos, spoken word and more on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the West Hollywood City Council Chambers, 625 N. San Vicente Blvd. Curated by award-winning filmmaker, journalist and cultural activist Anna Margarita Albelo, aka La Chocha, and screenwriter Dara Nai, the show will feature La Chocha as MC.
Performers will include comedian, writer, actress and DJ Liza Dye; writer, actor and comedian Sabrina Jalees; writer, actor and comedian Tara Jepsen; television writer, comedian, actor, award-winning novelist and poet Ali Liebegott; television host, screenwriter, producer, director and award-winning performer Bridget McManus; author, poet and literary arts organizer Michelle Tea, and comedian, actress and writer Mo Welch.
