This 40-year old LGBT icon passed away last year due to a rent hike. But it came back to life last month and what better way to celebrate its resurrection than with a Halloween party?
Roosterfish, which is at 1302 Abbot Kinney Blvd. in Venice, is hosting a “spooky spectacle” beginning at 5 p.m. to benefit Venice Pride. There will be a Halloween costume contest, open to all, at midnight, along with dancing going on until 2 a.m. Prizes include $500 in cash for first place.
Early bird tickets ($5) and general admission tickets ($10) can be purchased online.
