I have been a huge fan of James Corden and all the funny, unique and intriguing things he has brought to The Late Late Show, like carpool karaoke for example. Another thing he does that is new and fresh is play a “pretend gay” very well. In an almost identical scene from the Fifty Shades film, James Corden invites a very innocent Jamie Dornan into his secret play room, introducing him to a whole new world of pleasure using model train sets. I could not stop laughing at near identical scene from the movie and the serious faces of these two guys made it ever more hilarious.
However, it ends up that true love was not meant to be when Jamie ends up “out-nerding” Corden and gets banished from the model train room. This was so funny and well executed. But I really love that these guys play being gay together without being overly stereotypical.
