Details: Join Outfest for a live reading of Henry Alberto’s Screenplay “Aristotle and Dante Discover The Secrets of The Universe”.

Set in 1987 in El Paso, Texas, this film follows two-teenage Mexican-American loners. It’s an exploration of sexuality, identity, and family, but ultimately it’s a love story.

This screenplay will be read live by a star-studded cast including: Xolo Mariduena (Parenthood, Twin Peaks), Norma Maldonado (Jane The Virgin, The Fosters), Jose Zuniga (Twilight, Madam Secretary), Liz Torres (Gilmore Girls, Golden Globe Nominee), Ana Ortiz (Ugly Betty, Devious Maids), Madison De La Garza (Desperate Housewives), Martin Morales (Fresh Off the Boat), Norio Chalico (Lopez), and Matt Pascua (Wild).

Dir/Scr: Henry Alberto, based on the novel by Benjamin Alire Sáenz and casting for this reading is provided by Jessica Sherman.
