COVID-19: 307 WeHo Residents Now Confirmed As Infected

COVID-19 infections continue to grow, with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health today reporting 1,777 new confirmed infections and 50 new deaths from illness related to that virus. That is higher than the seven-day average of 24 deaths.

In West Hollywood, 307 residents are confirmed to have been infected with COVID-19. That is an increase of three from yesterday’s count of 300.

To date, the Health Department has identified 124,738 positive cases of COVID-19 across L.A. County and a total of 3,689 deaths.  There are 2,037 people currently hospitalized, 26% of these people are confirmed cases in hospital intensive care units and 17% are confirmed cases on ventilators. This is substantially higher than the 1,350 to 1,450 daily hospitalizations seen four weeks ago.

The Health Department today reported 331 confirmed infections among Beverly Hills residents, an increase of three over yesterday’s count.  Culver City today reports 237 infections, up three from yesterday.  The Hollywood neighborhood is home to 562 infected people, an of three from Wednesday’s count.  And there are 1,017 people  in the Melrose neighborhood who have been confirmed to be infected, up 12 from yesterday.

No it is not. It is an increase of seven.

Where are these people and what are they doing to catch this awful disease?
No increased death rates seems unusual.
