
The city council meeting is held at 625 North San Vicente at the council chambers on the first floor of the West Hollywood library. The meeting begins at 6pm. and members of the public are invited to attend and speak on any item or during the public comment period.
Item E1: Update on the Fountain Ave. Streetscape Project. There have been 22 comments on this topic submitted. Only commenters that have location data have been used in the total calculation. Item B12 is an agreement for services with JJLA for special event production in the rainbow district. The budget not to exceed $100,000 will include two free events at West Hollywood Park during the winter season and a minimum of three events between December 2025 and June 2026. The activations are designed to showcase local businesses within the district. Total allocation including waiver of special event fees is $124,000.
Item B16 is a report on West Hollywood’s effort to oppose the Trump administrations measures impacting or community. The item reaffirms West Hollywood’s core values of respect and inclusion for all people. In addition the item directs the city manager to reconvene a working group to respond to actions by the Trump administration that may contradict the city’s core values. It also authorizes the city manager to enjoin the City of West Hollywood to any amicus support on actions that are inconsistent with the city’s legislative priorities.
Item B17: On the consent calendar in support of Proposition 50, the election rigging act.
There is one public hearing on the agenda: An appeal of the planning commissions approval for the renovation of the new PUBLIC hotel/ former Standard Hotel, at 8300 Sunset Blvd. and a minor conditional use permit to increase the outdoor after for the consumption of alcohol.

In the Agenda as of Friday afternoon, the agenda posted 11 emails total: 7 OPPOSE the Fountain Ave plan and 4 support it. There is a petition on change.org 2, 627 signatures of citizens who OPPOSE the Fountain Avenue. (See here:

At the meeting last night, there were definitely more commenters in support of the project than speaking against. Glad the council did the right thing to approve moving forward.
Item F5! Awesome! We will no longer have violence in West Hollywood! I guess we can collect all the guns from the Sheriffs Tuesday morning. And homeowners can turn theirs in too. Who knew it could be this simple?
