The City of West Hollywood is accepting applications for temporary summer positions in its Recreation Services Division. These seasonal roles support recreation and aquatic programs at the West Hollywood Park Aquatic and Recreation Center (ARC) and Plummer Park Community Center.
Available positions include:
- Temporary Recreation Leader I
- Temporary Recreation Aide (Camp)
- Temporary Lifeguard
- Temporary Aquatics Aide
Summer employment with the city offers flexible schedules, a dynamic work environment, and paid on-the-job training.
Applications for Temporary Recreation Leader I and Temporary Recreation Aide (Camp) are due by Friday, February 21, at 5 p.m. Qualifying candidates must attend a mandatory group activity assessment and interview on Saturday, March 15, 2025, where they will be evaluated on teamwork, leadership, and creativity.
For Temporary Lifeguard and Temporary Aquatics Aide roles, interviews and skill assessments will take place on Saturday, April 5, Thursday, April 10, and Tuesday, April 15, 2025. Lifeguard applicants must complete a swim proficiency test, while Aquatics Aide candidates will participate in an interview with the Recreation leadership team.
