This Saturday, the ASPCA set up an outreach table on Santa Monica Blvd—just east of San Vicente.
The ASPCA, or American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, is a non-profit animal welfare organization that works to protect animals from cruelty and neglect or death.

On hand were Joaquin, and Jillian along with other members of the ASPCA, with the goal of increasing membership in the ASPCA ‘guardian program’. The cost to join the program starts at $25 per month.
Currently there are over 900 dogs in shelters from just the wildfires earlier this year. You don’t have to attend the pop up to join. Visit https://www.aspca.org/ for more information on the guardian program and other valuable info on pet care.
