Ava Max, Jess Glynne, Drag Kings — WeHo Pride Friday Night Is Free and It’s Fire!

Ava Max is headlining WeHo Pride’s Friday night and yeah — it’s free!

WeHo Pride Presents Friday Night at OUTLOUD Music Festival hits West Hollywood Park on June 5. Registration opens May 1 at 10 a.m. PT at outloudmusicfestival.com — one ticket per email, limited capacity. Set a reminder right now. Seriously. I’ll wait.

The bill beyond Ava Max: Jess Glynne, Maude Latour, Cakes da Killa, DARUMAS, Hannah Rad, plus a Drag King Showcase with King Molasses, Tenderoni, and Dick Von Dyke. All of that. Free. In the park. On a Friday. Programming starts at 6 p.m.

OUTLOUD is produced by JJLA. Already have a weekend pass? You’re covered for Friday — no separate registration needed.

Mayor John Heilman said this is what West Hollywood does.

“The City of West Hollywood has long set the standard for LGBTQ+ visibility and civic leadership,” Heilman said. “Friday Night at OUTLOUD reflects that legacy, creating a space where community and expression intersect on a major stage. It’s a powerful way to open a WeHo Pride Weekend, which carries a deep meaning for LGBTQ+ pride far beyond our City.”

The weekend OUTLOUD lineup has The Pussycat Dolls, JADE, and Ashlee Simpson among the performers. When we sat down with OUTLOUD founder Jeff Consoletti earlier this year, he called JADE the IT Girl of the moment. Clearly he had something up his sleeve. Single-day passes on sale now at outloudmusicfestival.com.

Consoletti founded OUTLOUD in 2019 because he wanted a concert for queer people — actually for them, not just tolerant of them. He came to West Hollywood from Boston 20 years ago. Built one of the City’s signature events from nothing. He called it a pinch-me moment when we talked. The City locked JJLA in through 2030 last year. Friday at West Hollywood Park is what all of that has been building to.

“Friday Night at OUTLOUD has grown into a defining moment of WeHo Pride weekend. It’s where the energy starts, and the community comes together in a big way,” Consoletti said. “Opening this year with Ava Max brings a bold, global pop moment to the stage and sets the pace for everything that follows.”

WeHo Pride Street Fair runs June 6 and 7, free, noon both days. Saturday has the Women’s Freedom Festival and the Dyke March at the WeHo Pride Community Stage. Parade is Sunday, June 7. All of it at wehopride.com. Follow @wehopride and @officiallyoutloud.

WeHo Pride weekend is June 5 through 7. Free is free.
