About the Film
Directed by Shannon Cohn and executive produced by Hillary Rodham Clinton, Rosario Dawson, Corinne Fox, and Mae Whitman, Below the Belt exposes the devastating global impact of endometriosis, a disease that affects more than 200 million women. Through the stories of four patients navigating years of misdiagnosis, the film sheds light on systemic failures in women’s healthcare and the urgent need for reform.
The film also drives the THINK ENDO educational campaign, the first of its kind to engage healthcare professionals and students in conversations about gender bias, early diagnosis, and equitable care. Learn more at thinkendo.org.
