West Hollywood’s Block by Block security ambassadors will be having a farewell barbeque on Thursday, September 25th, from 1:30-3pm. The event will be hosted at the companies east side base. Along with the farewell bbq, security ambassadors have been offered ten free mental health therapy sessions.

I just wanna add that most of City Hall employees and WeHo residents were hating BBB employees but at the same time they were praising Danny and Erica. Same corrupted crew. Where is all the money that City gave to BlockbyBlock? We know where, you know too.
And where are the stats regarding crimes and other altercations mitigated by BBB?
I would love to hear city council and city staff to explain why Allied was chosen and why they are okay that lower wages are acceptable than Block By Block’s wages as they continue to champion West Hollywood having the highest minimum wage so all can afford to live here. Hypocrisy runs rampant with our government officials and the contracts they choose to honor
This is a very true statement. They changed city worker policy under the notion that the maids at the hotel should not have to commute long distances and should live closer to work but the same thoughts do not apply to the security ambassadors. They rant against bad employers, with no heart, and yet they oversee a very unhappy group of contracted staff and city staff.
I started my trainings a week before Pride 2025. We had some training, just watching videos. All of them were about Santa Monica and Downtown, so it was completely pointless—zero videos about West Hollywood. My first day on the field was Friday, the first day of Pride. I was completely lost. I’d never worked in West Hollywood before, and there was no guidance. We tried asking supervisors and managers, but nobody was around. I was working there. 2024-2025. We went to Halloween and Pride without radios and winter jackets. Only a blue shirt and idiotic straps. Nobody cared. Team lead would tell me to ask a supervisor, supervisor to ask general manager… chaotic. Not to mention broken bicycles that we had to use. Just insane. Where all that money went… not hard to guess.
Anybody else sick and tired the corruption in West Hollywood city government?? The amount of money that these people “earn” or just plain grift is obscene.
