Burglary in Progress Reported on West Knoll Drive in West Hollywood

West Hollywood Sheriff’s deputies responded earlier Wednesday to a burglary in progress at 912 West Knoll Drive in West Hollywood.

The burglary was reported at approximately 10:30 a.m. Wednesday morning when the homeowner noticed their home security camera showed two males wearing black hoodies and masks inside the residence. They were not at home at the time of the break-in and were monitoring the footage remotely.

Deputies were dispatched Code 3 (lights and sirens) to the scene. The property is located in a gated community, with responders requesting and getting the gate access codes. A police helicopter was seen circling overhead as well.

Recent Break-In on Poinsettia Place

The West Knoll Drive incident comes just days after another residential burglary in West Hollywood. On Sunday afternoon, two masked burglars broke into a duplex on North Poinsettia Place around 1:20 p.m. while neighbors were having a backyard barbecue in an adjacent unit. The suspects fled empty-handed after a resident who was home upstairs confronted them mid-break-in.

WEHOonline spoke with the Sheriff’s department who confirmed the burglary and that the crime was now being handled by detectives. This is a developing story and will be updated as more information becomes available.

But, but, but, the political “leadership” of West Hollywood continues to harp on us and say that crime is down, and we’re safe, and there’s nothing to worry about. Chelsea and company fail to acknowledge the lived experience of residents, and rather favor statistics over our real world lives. Heads up their entrails, all.

Crime is not down and the new street ambassadors are terrible!!!! Most of the time now they just sit in a truck and then they are on foot they dont even wait until any transients are far enough away like the old company did.
