Car Bursts into Dramatic Flames on a Hot Night on Santa Monica Boulevard

On a night when West Hollywood residents and visitors were already overwhelmed by the high temperatures, a car added to the heat at about 11 p.m.

The car, pictured in a video taken by Joseph G. Daniels,  burst into flames last night at 8460 Santa Monica Blvd. for no apparent reason.  As of this morning, the Sheriff’s Station had no information about the cause of the incident, but those on the scene reported that no one was in the car.
