People were lined up outside Crumbl Cookies at the West Hollywood Gateway before dawn Saturday for a pop-up collab with White Fox, an Australian clothing brand, that handed out free bags of festival-season goods ahead of Coachella.
The bags included a hoodie, dry shampoo, a handheld fan and a phone accessory pouch.
Breanna Cook arrived at 3:30 a.m. on her way home from a closing shift at Jon & Vinny’s after spotting the line forming outside.
“If we want one, we got to get here,” she said.
Cook estimated more than 100 people had lined up by opening. She said she nearly got into it with some women ahead of her in line who weren’t happy about latecomers.
“We did almost get fought by some old ladies,” Cook said. “They really wanted the bag.”
Cook said White Fox was her reason for coming, not the cookies. “I actually like White Fox, so that’s what I was here for. The cookie didn’t really interest me that much. But it was so nice and there was a lot of good stuff in here.”
She said she found out about the event on White Fox’s Instagram.
Kelly, a White Fox representative who gave only her first name, said the brand runs a U.S. warehouse and brought the pop-up to West Hollywood as a community event before festival season.
“We’re just doing a pop-up just to get the community together before festival season and give away all the festival essentials,” Kelly said.
Crumbl opened at the Gateway, 7100 Santa Monica Blvd., in May 2024.
Leaving the “old lady” comment aside, I’m more worried about “We did almost get fought…” 🙄
Old ladies, what where they 40?
Lol. Steve and I thought the same thing. Maybe even 30!
🤣🤣🤣
