‘Boys Don’t Cry’ Screening at WeHo Council Chambers

Meet director Kimberly Peirce for a special retrospective screening of “Boys Don’t Cry,” sponsored by Fox Searchlight. This film, first screened 15 years ago, garnered over 49 international awards, as well as a Best Actress Oscar for Hilary Swank’s portrayal of Brandon Teena. The screening includes a Q&A with the director and a special post-screening reception. Tickets, $10, can be purchased online.
