Brazilian Soul Trio Performs in WeHo

Brazilian Soul Trio performs “a sizzling contemporary style with traces of jazz, samba, soul and pop.” Bandleader/singer/guitarist Carla “Carlinha” Hassett (from São Paulo) has sung for a myriad of artists including Caetano Veloso, Solomon Burke and Billy Idol, and has contributed to the “Rio” and “Rio 2” motion picture soundtracks. She is joined by guitarist and author Joe De Sa (from Belo Horizonte) and percussionist Felipe Fraga (from Curitiba). Admission is free to the concert, which is part of West Hollywood’s Winter Sounds program. Free validated parking will be provided for the five-story public/park parking garage only (accessible via El Tovar Place). Bring your parking ticket to the concert to get validation.
