Los Angeles’ newest museum National Museum of Animals & Society, will hold a chicken adoption and celebration on Saturday, February 22 at 2:30 p.m. The National Museum of Animals & Society is partnering with Animal Place, a 600-acre farmed animal sanctuary in Grass Valley, CA, to adopt out approximately 50 rescued chickens to pre-approved homes. Adopters are also welcome to visit the ‘Uncooped’ exhibit and partake in ‘maker stations’ where they can assemble chicken treats for their new feathered friends, and receive a thank you goody bag with chicken-friendly treats. Exhibit runs through March 30. Hours: Thursday – Sunday, 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. Regular admission is a suggested $5 donation.
