CMG Gay Short Film Festival at WeHo Council Chambers

A walk in the park turns dangerous; crashing with the perfect couple turns into a roller coaster ride; a young man goes to war; a family dinner is full of pitfalls; a janitor in a gay bar encounters magic; adventures in internet dating; spending a whole day with an ersatz Madonna; a young girl discovers things aren’t always what they seem; and a man’s visit to a mattress store turns into a trial by fire.  That’s just a taste of the short films that will be screened at 4 p.m. (with a different set at 8 p.m.) on Saturday, and more to follow on Sunday. Tickets are $10 for each set of screenings and $35 for all four. They can be purchased online beginning Aug. 22 at https://cmgfilmfest2014.webconnex.com/cmgfilmfestival. All proceeds will be donated to AIDSWalk LA.
