Col. Margarethe Cammermeyer at West Hollywood Park Auditorium

Col. Margarethe Cammermeyer is a Vietnam veteran, Bronze Star recipient, and Mazer Archive donor, who served as one of the few openly gay or lesbian people in the U.S. military while the “don’t ask don’t tell” policy was in effect and who went on to challenge and help to revoke the military’s ban on gays and lesbians serving in the military.  Join the Mazer Lesbian Archives as they host a special event with Col. Cammermeyer at the West Hollywood Park Auditorium followed by a screening of the film, ‘Serving In Silence’ Saturday May 17 at 3 p.m.  $10 Requested Donation
