ONE Archives, Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions (LACE), and the MAK Center present a screening of recent video work by Doug Ischar alongside videos by Bruce and Norman Yonemoto from the 1980s. Ischar’s work explores longing, loss, and gay identity, while seminal video works by the Yonemotos interrogate narrative relationships between desire and mass media. Shown together, the screening will highlight shared affinities between the two bodies of work. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Doug Ischar and Bruce Yonemoto. Admission is free.
