Marie Høeg Meets Klara Lidén exhibit at ONE Archives

Opening reception for Marie Høeg Meets Klara Lidén exhibit and Voluspå book launch at ONE Archives Friday, Feb. 21 at 6 p.m.-9:30 p.m.  The exhibit pairs the work of contemporary Swedish artist Klara Lidén alongside rediscovered photographs by Norwegian suffragist Marie Høeg.  The meeting between Lidén and Høeg dislocates the narration of history as linear progression through humor, play, and sly performativity.  In addition to the opening, ONE will present a lecture by Norwegian art theorist and queer critic Mathias Danbolt followed by a book launch of the third FRANK publication Voluspå.  Exhibit runs through June 28, more information can be found here and gallery hours can be found here.
