In celebration of September as National Literacy Month, the City of West Hollywood is launching a month-long community literary event called WeHo Reads, which will feature a free screening of a classic noir film in the West Hollywood Library every Saturday at 2 p.m. from Sept. 6 to Sept 20. On Sept 27 there will be a full day of panel discussions, music and film from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. The Sept. 20 screening is of “Mildred Pierce.”
