Reading – Burning Leaves by Tom Rowan

Celebration Theatre and the City of West Hollywood on the third Tuesday of each month present readings of new works celebrating the LGBTQ experience. In “Burning Leaves” by Tom Rowan, a gay actor moves from New York for a fresh start as a drama teacher in a Midwest high school. Soon after his arrival, the teacher must contend with a lonely divorcee and a gay teen – both of whom are attracted to him – as well as a self-centered “it girl.”
