Actor James Franco will do q-and-a sessions and introductions to screenings of his new film opening Nov. 1 in Los Angeles. ‘Sal’ chronicles the final day in the life of actor Sal Mineo, the 1950s teen idol who starred in “Rebel Without a Cause.” Mineo was murdered in West Hollywood. Q-and-A’s with Franco and actor Val Lauren after the 7:30 p.m. shows and introductions to the 10 p.m. shows Friday and Saturday. Tickets, $12, online.
