‘Waking Life’ film at Egyptian Theatre

Animation for adults takes over Egyptian Theatre for the month of January with a double feature this Friday, Jan. 17 at 7:30 p.m. ‘Waking Life’ directed by Richard Linklater, is a film about a man named Wiley and the unusual characters he encounters that cause him to question whether he is actually asleep or awake.  The second screening ‘Fantastic Planet’ is a film animation by french director Rene Laloux about a distant planet where humans are kept as pets by a race of gigantic, blue-skinned overlords called the Draags.  Tickets, $11, available online.
