A robbery investigation is underway at the Fairfax Chase Bank after a police radio call alerted units to an incident at 310 North Fairfax Avenue. The report, logged as a 211 robbery, sent LAPD to the branch location in the Fairfax District on New Year’s Eve.
According to the dispatch, law enforcement is searching for a white minivan that served as the suspect vehicle in the getaway.
Suspect and Vehicle Description
The alleged suspect involved in the suspected robbery is described as a Black male, approximately 20 years of age. At the time of the call, he was reported to be wearing:
A black beanie
A black sweater
Khaki pants
The white minivan was seen fleeing the area surrounding 310 North Fairfax Avenue shortly after the alarm was triggered. Police are currently canvassing the area for the vehicle between Beverly Boulevard and Oakwood Avenue.
