Guess? to Anchor Prominent Corner in WeHo’s Design District

Guess? has officially begun construction on its new West Hollywood hotspot at the corner of Melrose and San Vicente. The location sits directly across from Catch, the West Hollywood Library, and West Hollywood Park, and diagonally across from the Pacific Design Center.

The company was founded in 1981 by brothers Georges, Maurice, Armand, and Paul Marciano. Guess? helped define the designer denim era and remains a global fashion brand. In 2024, the company reported $2.78 billion in total revenue.

On April 24, Bloomberg News reported that Authentic Brands Group is considering a bid for Guess?. The ABG portfolio includes names such as Reebok, Champion, Nautica, David Beckham, Jones New York, Nine West, Lucky Brand, Juicy Couture, Billabong, Quiksilver, Roxy, Izod, Frye, RVCA, Prince, Hart Schaffner Marx, Rockport, Volcom, and Ted Baker, among others.

The new location is expected to open in mid-to-late 2025.

The addition of Guess? introduces another ‘formula retailer’ to the West Hollywood landscape and places the brand squarely in the heart of the city’s Design District.
