Who’s Taking Over Crunch Fitness on the Sunset Strip? We May Have the Answer

By now everyone knows Crunch Fitness at 8000 Sunset Blvd. is closing at the end of March, but who or what might be taking over the iconic location at the corner of Crescent Heights and Sunset Blvd. has been buzzing since the news broke. Well, it looks like we may have an answer.

Thanks to a tip, we were directed to check out the EōS Fitness website and lo and behold, it looks like they could be moving in. In fact, it says they are.

In what appears to be a quick move, the club has the 8000 W Sunset Blvd. address listed on its website under “Los Angeles: Laurel Ave / W Sunset Blvd” with a “Coming Soon” and a 2026 opening year. The listing says it will be open 24/7 and will have both “Lux” and standard membership tiers.

The timing is hard to ignore. EōS’s listing appeared as Crunch announced it couldn’t reach a “favorable deal with the landlord” after nearly 30 years on the Sunset Strip.

An EōS takeover would keep a gym at the location, but Crunch members would need new memberships. The 8000 Sunset Blvd. spot has been a go-to fitness destination since Crunch opened in 1997.

EōS Fitness hasn’t officially confirmed the location yet. WEHOonline reached out to EōS Fitness but hasn’t heard back.
