The Barlochan Cottage from Heated Rivalry is officially bookable on Airbnb, and West Hollywood fans who’ve been obsessing over the Season 1 finale since December finally have somewhere to take that energy.
Airbnb confirmed Tuesday the lakefront Muskoka property, where Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov spent their time in the finale working out what everyone already knew, will list for the first time starting March 3 at 9 a.m. Pacific.
The cottage, set in Ontario’s Muskoka Lakes about 90 minutes north of Toronto, looks exactly like it does on screen. Three bedrooms with king beds, three bathrooms, an open-concept kitchen with island seating, soaring ceilings, two fireplaces, a rec room with theater chairs, kayaks, canoes, and direct boating access to three of the biggest lakes in the region. Airbnb describes it as “frequented by A-listers,” which given what we know about the show’s fanbase, makes complete sense.
The property actually appears first in episode six, not just the finale, when Shane invites Ilya up for some privacy and things start getting complicated in the way that sent the internet into full meltdown mode. Fans booking the cottage will find a nod to Shane and Ilya’s jersey numbers somewhere in the pricing. Airbnb won’t say where exactly, but the fandom will figure it out.
A Show That Became a Phenomenon
Adapted from Rachel Reid’s best-selling “Game Changers” book series and created by Jacob Tierney, Heated Rivalry debuted on Crave in Canada on November 28 and streams on HBO Max in the U.S. The six-episode series follows rival hockey stars Shane Hollander (Hudson Williams) and Ilya Rozanov (Connor Storrie) through nearly a decade of a secret and increasingly complicated romance. The show hit 10.6 million average viewers per episode in the U.S. earlier this month and Crave renewed it for a second season before the finale even aired. Tierney, who wrote and directed the entire first season himself, is confirmed to return for Season 2, with filming expected sometime this summer.
West Hollywood has had a genuine connection to the show from the start. As we reported in ‘Heated Rivalry’ Stars Sweep WeHo Scene, Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie made impromptu appearances at Hi Tops, Gym Bar, and Rocco’s back in December, stunning the crowd and racking up millions of TikTok views in the process. A gay love story at the center of mainstream prestige drama, treated with full emotional weight and no apology, doesn’t come around often. The WeHo audience noticed. BTW, Storrie lives in West Hollywood.
What You’re Booking

Amenities include free WiFi, waterfront access, a fire pit, an indoor fireplace, kayaks, canoes, and enough natural scenery to understand why Shane picked this place for the moment he did. Three queen bedrooms, three bathrooms, and the kind of quiet that makes everything feel more significant than it probably should.
