I live for things with a dark beauty, which is what brings me to this song by Chester Lockhart. This reminded me of “My Chemical Romance” from back in the day. Their music that showed the beauty of the darker side of things. This song embodies that completely.
First, we find that a man has broken Chester’s heart and “killed” him prematurely. As he tries to mourn the heartbreak, he finds the guy, ties him up and gives him a trial by fire. Visually the video captures the darkness of feeling betrayed by someone who you cared about, with a splash of sociopath.
