LA Kings Day At WeHo Winter Ice Rink Sunday

LA Kings Day At WeHo Winter Ice Rink takes over West Hollywood Park on Sunday, Dec. 14, with skating sessions running from noon to 9:30 p.m. The City and @wehorec are billing it as a full day of skating, games, and giveaways, with a Rainbow Disco Skate planned during the 6 to 7:30 p.m. session. If you’re aiming for that window, it’s worth grabbing that specific session ahead of time which you can do here.

The rink runs in 90-minute blocks, and tickets include skate rental. Pricing is $15 for ages 3 to 14, and $20 for ages 15 and up. If you’ve done the holiday pop-up rink thing before, you know the drill, show up a little early, get sized, lace up, get on the ice. Socks are required for rental skates and expect to sign  digital safety waiver.

On Sundays, sessions are scheduled for 12 to 1:30 p.m., 2 to 3:30 p.m., 4 to 5:30 p.m., 6 to 7:30 p.m., and 8 to 9:30 p.m. Some tickets are typically held for walk-up purchases, but the City recommends booking in advance if you have a specific time in mind.

Parking is available in the West Hollywood parking garage located just off the park at 647 N. San Vicente Blvd. If you’ve been before, you’ll find a pedestrian bridge on level 3 connecting you to the park. The City says validations for up to two hours are provided inside the Aquatic and Recreation Center.

LA Kings Day is part of the wider WeHo Winter fun, which continues through Sunday, Dec. 21, with daily 90-minute sessions and a rotating mix of theme nights. If you miss LA Kings Day, two more big ones are already on the calendar, Neon Skate on Saturday, Dec. 20, and Closing Night Pride Skate on Sunday, Dec. 21, both listed on the ticketing page. And if you’re the type who likes to lean all the way into winter, the City’s next cold-weather dare is already set, Polar Plunge returns Sunday, Jan. 11, 2026, at the Aquatic and Recreation Center.

For more rink details, including accessibility, skate-aid rentals, and group sales, the City’s dedicated ice rink page and ticket site include the full FAQ and contact information.

The Rainbow Disco Skate alone makes this a must-do, and it’s nice to see so many session options throughout the day. Appreciate the heads-up about booking in advance and the parking details too—super helpful. Winter fun in WeHo keeps getting better!

The LA Kings cancelled their Pride night this year thanks to their maga owner, so not attending any of their games or events this year.
I wish the Kings and their arena could be owned by locals rather than a multimillionaire in Denver

Oh you cover the “no kings” rallies and THEN you cover THIS. Hypocrites! 🙂
