As if figuring how who the nine candidates for two West Hollywood council seats isn’t difficult enough, now residents of the Eastside are being targeted by campaigns for the Los Angeles City Council and mayoralty. Signs are popping up promoting Eric Garcetti, an LA council member who is running for mayor. And some residents have reported receiving mailings from John Choi, who is campaigning for the District 13 seat on the LA council. WeHo’s council election is March 5, the same date as the LA Council’s primary election. Someone needs to tell these LA folks that WeHo declared its independence in 1984. Should we be thinking about establishing an Eastside border patrol?
