A black Lexus drove through the front of the FedEx Office across from the Beverly Connection shopping center Thursday afternoon, ending up partially inside the store and bringing a large emergency response to the scene at Beverly Boulevard and North La Cienega Boulevard.
The crash was reported at approximately 2:49 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 26, 2026.
Car ends up inside the store
Photos and video from the scene show the Lexus sitting well inside the FedEx Office after blowing through the glass storefront. The entire entry was demolished — door frame metal twisted and scattered across the floor, glass spread in every direction. The car’s rear hatch had popped open from the force of the impact. Inside the store, shelving remained standing but the area around the vehicle was a wreck.
LensCrafters, which shares the storefront strip directly next to FedEx Office, did not appear to suffer any structural damage from the footage we reviewed.
LAFD and LAPD respond
Los Angeles Fire Department Engine 61 was among the units on scene, with multiple firefighters seen assessing the building and the vehicle. LAPD also had a unit at the location. A call for an ambulance went out, but whether the driver or anyone inside the store was injured was not immediately confirmed.

That’s not the Beverly Connection- it’s just north of there across Beverly Blvd.
Yes, thank you. We should have said near Beverly Connection or Center. Appreciate you. Thx!
