Update From Michael Manion: “So nice of you… [Apollo] has been successfully handed off to his rightful family. Sorry for the delay, I’m answering on here, Facebook, Instagram, Ring, and Citizen!”

A white Maltese puppy is in good hands after being found wandering unleashed on North Kings Road in West Hollywood Sunday, according to a post trending on the Nextdoor neighborhood app.

The dog, found by WeHo MidCity-Central resident Michael Manion, was wearing a black rhinestone harness — appearing to bear the word “Juicy” — but had no tags and no microchip. Manion is asking anyone with information about the dog’s owner to contact him through the app.

Anyone with leads is encouraged to reach out through the Nextdoor WeHo MidCity-Central neighborhood group here.

A good reminder to get your dog or cat microchipped if you haven’t already.
$15 at L.A. Animal Services. Glad this story had a happy ending!

Hi Jeff-

Thank you for sharing this link!

My rescue dog was chipped by the ASPCA through Home Again, whose phone number is mentioned at the end of the linked article.
