
The City of West Hollywood announced the construction of a new off-leash dog park at Plummer Park (7377 Santa Monica Boulevard), beginning Monday, September 15, 2025. The project is expected to be completed in early 2026.
The new dog park will be located west of the tennis and pickleball courts and east of N. Vista Street. Construction will not impact the Helen Albert Certified Farmers’ Market.
Dog Park Features:
Separate off-leash areas for large and small dogs
Fully enclosed with durable fencing and artistic laser-cut entry panels
Artificial turf with no added PFAS
Shade sails and seating in both shaded and open areas
Dual-use water fountains for people and dogs in each play area
Pet waste stations and receptacles in both sections
Low perimeter lighting for nighttime visibility
A new accessible walkway from N. Vista Street to the tennis courts
Drought-tolerant, non-toxic landscaping, plus a new shade tree
Construction notices will be posted in advance at the site.
