Perhaps the most interesting vote of the night for the at-large position left vacant after the departure of Michael Lombardi. Two candidates are front and center. Its a face-off between two Danny Hang appointees. Former Planning Commissioner Adam Bass who served on the commission from 2017-2021 and is currently serving as the direct appointee of council member Danny Hang to the Rent Stabilization Commission. And Mark R. Edwards who currently serves on the Historic Preservation Commission as Hang’s direct appointee. Edwards is widely believed to be the 2026 UNITE HERE Local 11 candidate for the West Hollywood City Council.
80% of what they look at……means nothing to most residents.
Just focusing on the silly people.
